From casual monthly meet-ups to big community celebrations, events are one of the ways Revelstoke Pride Society builds connection, creates welcoming spaces, and supports the local 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Some of our events are simply about getting together, meeting new people, and having a good time. Others are fundraisers that help us raise money to support future community programming, events, and initiatives.

Cheers Queers is our monthly opportunity for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks and allies to get together, make connections, and enjoy a little time out in the community.

Each month, we meet at a different local business or gathering spot around Revelstoke. There’s no formal agenda and no pressure to know anyone beforehand; just come as you are, grab a drink (alcoholic or not!), and hang out with your queer community.

Whether you’re a longtime Revelstoke local, new to town, or somewhere in between, everyone in the community is welcome.

Throughout the year, we also put on larger one-off and annual events that bring the wider community together, and help support the work of Revelstoke Pride Society.

These events can include movie nights, parties, performances, community celebrations, and other special events. Some are fundraisers, with proceeds helping us continue building queer community programming and creating more opportunities for connection in Revelstoke.

Our first Rocky Horror Picture Show fundraiser is bringing a little camp, a little chaos, and a whole lot of queer fun to the Revelstoke Performing Arts Centre.

With audience participation, costumes, a costume contest, prop bags, drinks, and a screening of the cult classic, it is more than just a movie night; it is a chance for the community to come together and have some fun while supporting local Pride.
